Research Portal
The Antenatal & Postnatal Psychology Network (APPN) supports research into perinatal mental health. We do this by publishing (on our website) information about research studies being conducted in this field. We support research studies that investigate the emotional/psychological impacts, experiences, or outcomes associated with fertility, pregnancy, childbirth, the postnatal period, and early parenting.
We are delighted to offer our website as a platform for researchers to promote their studies in order to recruit participants. The more participants researchers recruit, the more robust their findings are likely to be, and the more perinatal practitioners can ultimately benefit from a growing evidence-base from which to treat their clients/patients.
Visitors to our website are under no obligation to participate in the studies listed here. However those people who are inclined to support research can voluntarily elect to do so by determining whether they meet the criteria for participation (listed with each study).
Information for researchers wanting to list a study can be found here.
Studies listed for potential participants can be found here.
